Donaufestival has announced a massive line-up for 2013, the festival’s ninth year, set to return to Krems, Austria from April 25-May 4.
Krautrock legend Michael Rother will be presenting music from Neu! and Harmonia, while Girls Against Boys reunite to perform alongside David Yow of The Jesus Lizard.
Other musicians appearing include Robert Hood, Martin Rev from Suicide, William Basinski, :Zoviet*France:, BEAK> and Drokk, as well as Halls, Parenthetical Girls, Buke and Gase, Suuns, Darkstar and !!!.
Electronic music has pride of place at the festival, featuring Lee Gamble, SND, NHK’Koyxeи, The Haxan Cloak, Wife., Evian Christ, Demdike Stare, Raime, Pete Swanson, Holly Herndon, Container, Hype Williams, Simian Mobile Disco, Laurel Halo, Death Grips, The Gaslamp Killer, Wermonster, Ghostpoet, Omar Souleyman, and Skweee.
