This is the other tape I had in the three-wheeler. If you drive into Birmingham around Spaghetti Junction at night – man, it sounds fantastic! A few years after this, punk came along and it hit like a tsunami, really. I was in London by then. All these huge ’70s rock bands like Bad Company suddenly being out on their arses. But that was a good thing. Punk music didn’t appeal to me much, but I liked the idea behind it. If they can do this, you can do whatever you want. And I did.
