7. Death…For The Whole World To See

I remember one of my friends, she introduced me to Death. I was so heartbroken when I heard the story. I added this album as an acknowledgement for what can happen when the whole world doesn’t see what you’re capable of. It fills my heart with sorrow because of their brother passing away. If they had been in a different time, who knows what would have happened? But it most certainly wouldn’t have been as hard as it was for them.

I just appreciate their sacrifice and that they’re able to be seen now. It’s not okay, what happened, and this is a brilliant work, an incredible album, and they’re revolutionaries. It’s completely inappropriate that these tragedies rip apart marginalized communities.
