It’s really joyous, the singing is amazing. Some of it is recorded in Grace Cathedral in San Francisco – see that opens your mind, you think ‘wow, Grace Cathedral, don’t know about that!’. They were American too, and I was from Millbrook in Cornwall, not a lot got in there. We used to buy records in Boots, and a shop in Plymouth called Dingles. I was hearing things I’d never before and that’s the whole thing with this isn’t it? This is how I discovered electronic music. They were friends of Robert Moog. It’s beautiful, spiritual, I loved the sounds. I’ve always got a bit tired of electronic music when it’s just on its own, I get a bit wary and it’s too much, but this is rogue electronics, a real mish-mash of stuff, and I still listen to it
