9. Maliba
The Malian genius. He has played Takamba music, in an incredible way. Takamba isn’t just a Malian music, it’s the music of all the nomads, of the whole of the Sahel if you like, with amazing dancing that we do too. But generally, I love his solos and his guitar sound, and the pedals he uses are really exceptional. I haven’t had much internet access recently because we have problems with the connection but normally, he’s someone I listen to a lot.
