To me it’s what I was trying to say about rat people like me and Gordon Gano. It’s pathetic. And that’s my favourite thing about music. If you can take pathetic and staple balls onto it, that’s what she does somehow. She’s so pure and unbroken, without losing any texture, that it breaks your heart. That’s what it is: pathetic with balls will break your heart.
