It could have been a thousand other Elvis songs – he never made a bad record. This is from the film Jailhouse Rock and it’s got it all. Terrific. He sings it at a pool party in the film. Leiber and Stoller, of course. They wrote all the songs in Jailhouse Rock, so it’s a salute to the great Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
