Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

10. White NoiseAn Electric Storm

This is another album which should have far more recognition. It’s a late-’60s record that has it all. This has a rock & roll approach to pure British pop with lots of sound processing, samples and things like that. It’s a perfect encounter between ’60s British pop and humour and experimental music, whilst being quite sensual, fun, melodic and dark. It’s a cult album that’s absolutely one of my favourite albums of all time.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Thom Yorke, Sean Lennon, Knifeworld
