Anyone who’s been reading the Quietus over the past couple of years will know we have an abundance of love for Italian trio UFOmammut (the best of their home country’s 4,777 metal bands, say we). Earlier this year they released ORO: Opus Primum, the first in a pair of albums for 2012 that explore the full range of the band’s sound. Now they’ve released details of its follow-up, ORO: Opus Alter, which will be falling from the sky and flattening cars like a life-size, cast-iron mammoth on November 17th. It will feature five tracks – see below – will again be released through Neurot, and you can snag a taster of what to expect via the trailer above. Prepare yourselves.
