Noel Gallagher is attempting to shore up the Christmas sales of Oasis’ new album, this time laying into ageing, three chord rockers Status Quo.
Hitting back at comments made by the Quo’s Francis Rossi that Liam looked “bored shitless” on stage, Noel eloquently retorted that: “Normally I wouldn’t give a rat’s arsehole what Status Quo have got to say about anything.
“But tell them from me that when I go on stage at Wembley next summer, I won’t be wondering about what the poster boys from Help the Aged think." No Noel, you’ll be trying to remember those three chords you borrowed from Status Quo, won’t you.
