Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middletone are to reform Arab Strap for one night only. The duo this morning announced on their respective twitters (@aidanjohnmoffat & @M_MiddletonUK will play a concert to celebrate the 20th birthday of legendary Glasgow venue Nice & Sleazy on November 17th. What’s more, tickets will be free, limited to two per person, and available from this email address: 17thnovember2011@gmail.com. Good luck, and if anyone has a small helicopter they could fly us to Scotland in, drop the Quietus a line because this is not part of a wider Arab Strap reunion: Moffat earlier tweeted: "For those asking: Arab Strap won’t be playing anywhere else except @nice_n_sleazy, it’s a one-off for their birthday.
