Master of the filmmaking surreal, David Lynch, releases his debut album Crazy Clown Time next week. It’s a collection of disarmingly accessible electro pop songs and the sort of seedy mood pieces that tend to accompany his films.
It’s available to stream in full in advance of its release over at NPR Music, though you might have to sit through an advert or two first.
The title track’s been around for a couple of weeks now, and falls into the latter category – its echo-drenched guitars would have fitted nicely into the Lost Highway soundtrack.
