Founding Verve members Nick McCabe and Simon Jones have revealed information about their new project. The Black Ships will play their first live show on June 2 at Kings College, London. Although information on any future releases is scant, McCabe and Jones have issued the following statement:
"So it’s been a long time coming, pulling this thing that is The Black Ships together. At last we are ready to take you on a voyage over new seas.
"Many days spent in makeshift studios in different lands with new voices and we are finally ready to go.
"We will be playing our first live show on Thursday 2nd June at Kings College SU and hope you will join us in our new beginnings.
