We’ve all seen the famous German DIY shop commercial, where Blixa Bargeld promotes products that might have been used by his wonderful industrial group Einsturzende Neubauten. Now, this morning friend of the Quietus, filmmaker Nick Abrahams sent us a link to this excellent clip of Blixa Bargeld cooking a (black) calamari risotto on a German food programme. Blixa recommends a ceramic knife, and gets a little curt with the presenter, before refusing to answer whether the squid risotto stirs up any particular memory.
