The Hold Steady Tour Postponed

Band pull dates after guitarist illness

Thinkin’ and drinkin’ men’s rockers The Hold Steady have had to cancel their forthcoming UK tour after guitarist Tad Kubler was taken to hospital with pancreatitis.

According to a statement from the Hold Steady’s label Rough Trade, the band are planning to reschedule the dates, and hope to make an announcement shortly.

Meanwhile, planned support group War on Drugs have announced a series of replacement shows. These can be seen on the War on Drugs mySpace.
