Blimey, if this doesn’t look like the tent festival of the summer! Half of the Quietus’ favourite new bands have been announced as playing the Standon Calling festival, which takes place in the grounds of a Hertfordshire country house between August 6th and 8th 2010.
On the bill are the likes of Liars, These New Puritans, Esben & The Witch, Factory Floor, Fucked Up, Joe Gideon & The Shark, Pica Pica, Pantha Du Prince, with Buena Vista Social Club headlining on the Sunday night. Mr Fogg is playing too, but you can’t have everything.
