Jay-Z and Noel Gallagher’s little spat over the former’s appearance continues to bumble along through the silly season.
NME reports that last night Jay-Z used a concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden to pop at the monobrow rocker. "That bloke from Oasis said I couldn’t play guitar / Somebody should have told him I’m a fuckin’ rock star", quoth the rapper. Nice use of "bloke" there, Yankee-doodle-dandy!
In an interview with the paper yesterday, Gallagher had tried to brush off the beef, claiming "Jay-Z said recently ‘Wonderwall’ is always the last song of the night at his restaurant in New York. I’ll have a beer with him one day and it will be fine."
