Hyperdub has announced a new record from Burial.
The record consists of two tracks titled ‘Claustro’ and ‘State Forest’. ‘Claustro’ was premiered this morning by Mary Anne Hobbs on her BBC Radio 6 Music show. You can listen to the track by skipping to the 1:10:40 mark here.
The release marks the first solo record from Burial since 2017 when he released another two-tracker on Nonplus Records. He also released ‘Rodent’ earlier that same year on Hyperdub and put out a collaborative record with Kevin Martin as Flame 1 in 2018.
