Yoko Ono is to release her new album entitled Between My Head And The Sky on September 21st through independent label, Chimera. Featuring guest appearances from the likes of Erik Friedlander and Indigo Street, as well as a new incarnation of the Plastic Ono Band, the album was recorded, according to her son, Sean Lennon, amidst a song-writing frenzy that was akin to a ‘tornado of inspiration’ with Yoko writing and recording up to 6 songs a day. Lennon also added that some of the best lyrics on the album were when Ono just ‘freestyled’. We aren’t sure what to think.
