Standing amidst the sundry goons of the music business at the launch of the Mercury Music Prize this lunchtime, The Quietus’ breast filled with joy and pride at the news that British Sea Power’s superlative Do You Like Rock Music? has been nominated for the prestigious gong.
The Quietus deemed that this meant today was as good a time as any to unleash the short film we made at British Sea Power’s historic concert at the Natural History Museum back in late June. The Museum kindly let us wander around the closed galleries with the Sea Power boys, ask us some questions, and then film what was a truly special concert for all concerned. We’re now pleased to present for your viewing pleasure this documentation of the disparate worlds of rock ‘n’ roll and taxidermy uniting for one glorious night.
