Tomorrow night (September 2), Fat White Family and post-punters The Homosexuals are set to play a tiny show at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club to mark the launch of a brand new London-based zine called Hate.
The zine has been created “due to the frustration we were experiencing with the majority of mass-produced publications in print and online. No one was publishing the things we wanted to see, and as a young writer and photographer, we didn’t get many opportunities to have our work printed.” Those are the words of founders Luisa Le Voguer Couyet and Scarlett Carlos Clarke who will aim to give a platform to both unknown and established artists across various art forms with illustrations, photography, essays, interviews and other material forming the zine.
