Morrissey has cancelled a second date on his current tour due to an unspecified illness.
The cancellation of the concert at the Birmingham Symphony Hall follows that at the Royal Albert Hall last night, and Jools Holland tonight.
A post on the singer’s mySpace reads, "Morrissey is on continued doctor’s orders to rest, to ensure a complete recuperation.
"Event Organizers would like to apologise to fans for the disappointment and are working to reschedule this show and the London Royal Albert Hall show, so advise ticket holders to hang on to their tickets."
The New York Dolls have posted a message of condolence saying, "GET WELL SOON…We will be missin’ you in London!"
