Liam and Noel Gallagher have revived their famous sibling rivalry after the Oasis frontman poured scorn upon his older brother’s new radio show.
Noel Gallagher co-hosted a new show with comedian Russell Brand on TalkSPORT at the weekend, which drew criticism from Liam.
Posting on his Twitter account last night, the singer wrote: "Noel Gallagher, Russell Brand, fucking hell…what a pair of old housewives".
During the show Gallagher and Brand had tried to ring US president Barack Obama, although the guitarist had later worried the stunt might have affected his chances of getting a visa for Oasis’ next American tour.
Meanwhile, Noel has been having a pop at his brother in Q magazine. He said that Liam had never seen Noel’s son because he’s got such a potty mouth: "To a stranger it sounds ludicrous, but you wouldn’t have him in the house if he spoke to you the way he speaks to me and my family.
"He’s rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy. He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup." Right. Noel also had a go at Liam’s new-found healthy lifestyle, and love of jogging.
