After taking home a couple of honours at a certain awards show last night, Emeli Sandé is set to release a new version of her track ‘Next To Me’, featuring a guest spot from Kendrick Lamar, who gave us one of last year’s best albums in good kid, m.A.A.d city. Lamar puts down a couple of verses over Sandé’s song, which don’t, admittedly, sound too much like him – his normally relaxed delivery traded in for a more laconic approach – though he’s as literate and on-point as ever lyrically – listen above.
