Green Day have announced that the follow-up to the bucketload-selling American Idiot will be called 21st Century Breakdown.
The new album, which is apparently to be made up of three sections called "Heroes And Cons", "Charlatans And Saints" and "Horseshoes And Handgrenades" will be released in May, according to the band’s website.
Fans can preorder the album at a special discount price via the Green Day music website.
