This week, Bristol singer-songwriter Joe Volk and Japanese post-rockers Boris have released a split LP (artwork above), out via Invada, and we’ve got an exclusive premiere of the video for one of Volk’s two album cuts – have a watch of ‘Call To Sun’ below:
The video was directed by Bristol filmmaker Gary Thomas and shot in the city’s Easton and Stokes Croft areas, and stars Volk’s own niece and nephew.
Volk and Boris are currently finishing the year with a few dates in Europe, including shows tonight at The Fleece in Bristol and tomorrow at Birmingham’s Rainbow Warehouse. Anyone attending will be able to pick up the LP there; otherwise, it’s available solely from Invada’s website here.
