Tonight, Alt-J have been announced as winners of the Mmmm Danone Mercury Prize after an awards ceremony so tedious that one member of the Quietus staff has slipped into a permanent vegetative coma.
So to cheer us up we’ve decided to announce the winner of our own Jovian Bow Shock Award… Carter Tutti Void with Transverse on Mute records.

This means that Chris Carter, Cosey Fanni Tutti and Nik Colk Void may not have won a cheque for £20,000 but we are offering to take them to RASA on Church Street, Stoke Newington for a slap up vegetarian dosa meal. And we might even buy the first round of drinks.
