The Space come to the penultimate part of the huge undertaking of cataloguing the first 100 records of each letter of John Peel’s record collection, with the ‘Y’ records being published online today.
The most collected artists on the list include 15 albums from prog rock megaliths Yes and 14 from legendary 60s rockers The Yardbirds. Other artists featured include 70s new wave band Yachts, dancehall artist Yellowman and electronic innovators Yellow Magic Orchestra.
