Chicagoan singer songwriter Willis Earl Beal is set to release a short animated film this month, entitled ‘Principles Of A Protagonist’ and based on Beal’s novella of the same name – have a watch of the trailer below:
Beal has reworked five cuts from his debut album, this year’s Acousmatic Sorcery, for the soundtrack, giving the notably lo-fi recordings a grandiose overhaul. You can download the soundtrack – out as an EP (artwork above) – for free here, and have a listen to ‘Cosmic Queries’ below:
