Punishing Californian hip-hop/noise collective Death Grips have surprise leaked a brand new full-length onto the internet via YouTube. Entitled No Love – Deep Web, it’s impressively their second album this year, following on from springtime’s The Money Store, which we described as "as post-punk as Keith Levene at a raincoat convention."
You can listen to and download the entire album via the Soundcloud embed below. In keeping with their previous output it’s a scathing and abrasive listen, though powered by a compulsive sense of funk that threads through its skeleton. The second track even makes full on steps towards the dancefloor, with pummeling 808s and plunging wasp-hum synth whines suggesting some unholy fusion of techno and electro.
